EAR TRAINING

(paid software)

EAROPE

Earope was created by Cope media in Denmark.

It comes in 2 versions:

  1. Single owner license US$ 47 (cheaper if you buy more than one)
  2. Network license for schools: US$ 295+

There is a trial version

This fully featured software allows you to hone your ear in 7 main areas:

  • Intervals,
  • Scales,
  • Chords,
  • Inversions,
  • Progressions,
  • Melody &
  • Rhythm.

It is very well laid out and user friendly for all stages of learning.

Create your own exercises and progress gradually to the advanced levels.

The network version is ideal for school, college and university use as it can be installed on a central PC and then accessed by 5 to several hundred students depending on the network license you choose to buy.

Overall a very worthwhile product,

maybe a little overpriced since it only runs on Windows and does not include a "sing-your-answers" feature.
